Welcome. Proceed down Lilac Road until you see the Yellow Deli. Turn on Old Lilac Road right after the Yellow Deli.
Please note: about 2 miles of road to the property is a dirt road. Drive slowly and with caution. You'll see signs for the neighboring Lavender Farm which will point you in the right direction to Rancho Magdalena.
Please call our on-site representative, Edith, at the number below 15 minutes before arrival to the front gates to be welcomed to the property. Your front door code will be provided upon arrival.

CHECKOUT
➔ Check out time is 10 am. Please adhere to this timing to ensure our home can be prepared for the next guests.
➔ Turn off all TVs and return all TV remotes to their respective places. Replacements for these items are $50 each.
➔ Please clean up / gather all your trash and food items (bags under the kitchen sink) and place it in the trash cans outside.
➔ Hang any used towels on the towel racks in the bathrooms. Remove used sheets and please lay them on top of the bed.
➔ Turn off any A/C units and turn off all lights.

TECH HOW-TO's
THEATER:
Please follow these steps very carefully. If anything is non-functional, damaged, or re-configured during your stay, you will be billed $250 tech consulting fee (+any damages) to have the system re-configured.

SOUND SYSTEMS:
Please follow these steps very carefully. If anything is non-functional, damaged, or re-configured during your stay, you will be billed $250 tech consulting fee (+any damages) to have the system re-configured.
- Use the large Yamaha remote to simply "power on" the sound system. Do not hit any other buttons on this remote, other than volume.
- Turn on the projector using the "power" button. Do not touch the projector while it's on. And do not touch the lens or any other components.
- Hit select on the Roku remote to wake the Roku system.
- Select what you'd like to watch.

SOUND SYSTEMS:
- There are two sound systems in the home, one by the kitchen and one in the room outside the theater. Simply turn them on, and plug in your device!
POOL & HOT TUB
PLEASE NOTE: Hot tub and pool can only be heated individually. Either the hot tub, or the pool can be heated at one time. It is the same heater for both.
Both pool and hot tub heating are billed based on propane usage (average is around $350/day).
To request pool or hot tub heating for your stay, text 970-409-2983 with your request and dates of your stay.
- Pool heating takes about 24-48 hours, depending on the current weather.
- Hot tub heating takes about 3-4 hours, depending on the current weather.
Both pool and hot tub heating are billed based on propane usage (average is around $350/day).

HOUSE RULES & OTHER INFO
➔ We are so happy you are here! Please keep in mind that this is our family’s home when not rented and we ask that you treat it kindly. Enjoy yourself and this special place!
➔SHOWERS- Let the water run for 5-10 minutes. Sometimes the water takes a little while to heat up!
➔ Absolutely NO SMOKING in our home. Any smoking or vaping must be done outside, SAFELY. PLEASE ENSURE ALL MATCHES, LIT CIGARETTE BUDS, ETC ARE COMPLETELY OUT (RUN WATER OVER THEM AND THROW THEM IN TRASH. YOU ARE IN THE BEAUTIFUL SOCAL MOUNTAINS, WHERE FIRE DANGER CAN BE HIGH.
➔ Absolutely NO BONFIRES on the property. Again, fire danger is high; especially in the summer. Severe fines are issued by the county for any burning of any kind.
➔ If there is anything missing when you arrive, or any damage done during your stay (we understand these things happen) please report it immediately to us. This is to avoid having any overcharges when you leave. Please note there is an additional $100 fee if furniture has been moved and not placed back to original form.
➔There will be an extra cleaning fee determined upon condition, if property has been left with extreme cleaning necessity.
➔ NOTE: You are out in nature. You may end up encountering wildlife of many kinds. Please respect and keep your distance from any and all wild animals, as they are just that-- WILD! :) And although we don't see them often, please keep an eye out for snakes in the brush or high grass. You can find snake safety info here. Remember, in the event of any emergencies, CALL 911.
